For this Assignment, you will develop a research question and hypothesis for your Research Proposal for your chosen topic and receive Instructor feedback.
Review this week’s Learning Resources, including the instructions for the Final Project: Research Proposal Instructions found in Module 4, Week 9, of the course.
Consider a topic of study for your Research Proposal that you would like to explore further.
Assignment (1–3 paragraphs):
Describe the topic of study you have chosen for your Research Proposal.
Write a research question and hypothesis for your Research Proposal.
Be sure to support your Final Project Assignment with specific references to behavior-analytic theory and research. In addition to the Learning Resources, search the Walden Library and/or the internet for peer-reviewed articles to support your Final Project Assignment. Use proper APA format and citations, including those in the Learning Resources.
Please note that in addition to your week 3 assignment, you also have a Project task to complete. Here you will be developing and submitting your research topic and research question. We will be re-submitting this until it is properly aligned. Keep in mind that this course covers single subject research in ABA, a type of research most of you have likely never seen or used before, and this type of research is very specific. Obviously it is early on in the course, so you are not expected to fully know these specificities yet. However, you need your topic and RQ correctly aligned as early as possible to give you the best understanding of the final project. So, use this document as a guide for coming up with a topic and writing an RQ.
If you choose this assignment, I will be picking you to do the final project as well which is due mid November. I will send it no time I get feedback for this assignment.
