This week you will select a capstone topic from the following list:
Generational Issues related to Work Attitudes and Motivation
Improving Organizational Leadership
Improving Team Effectiveness in the Workplace
Advocating for Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity in the Workplace
Importance of Engagement in the Workplace
Enhancing Motivation in the Workplace
Reducing Stress in the Workplace
Achieving Work-Life Balance
Other (Must be Approved by Faculty)
First, you are required to meet synchronously with your capstone faculty to discuss your topic/issue. Please reach out to your faculty early in the week to schedule a meeting. After this meeting, you can complete Part 1 of your assignment. Part 1 involves the submission of a paper which describes your chosen topic, its relevance to the field of I/O psychology, and its relevance to the workplace.
Next, you will begin a literature search for your selected topic/issue. In Part 2, you will complete a chart reviewing 3-5 research articles identified via your library literature search. The chart you need to complete can be found in the Weekly Resources section of the course this week.
Length: Part 1, 1-page paper; Part 2, 1-2 page chart. Total length of submission 2-3 pages
References: Include a minimum of 3 scholarly resources
The completed assignment should address all of the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations and current APA standards, and adhere to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
