Part three of the course project, you will test your skills at planning a meeting. While planning a meeting might seem like a quick task, properly planning for one can take a good amount of time and be the difference between success and failure. In part four of the course project, Dr. Karpman provides a scenario of a typical workplace conflict. Your goal will be to mediate this issue and reach a resolution.
The medical field has long been steeped in a rigid hierarchy, with long-standing communication issues. And we know these issues can cause unintended harm and jeopardize patient safety. Part five of the course project asks you to take a deep look at these communication problems and strategies for how to improve.
