Having reviewed the article ‘Standards for Equity in Healthcare Provision and Utilisation: Pilot Test in Sixteen Countries’ (Chiarenza, Domenig & Cattacin 2020), drawing on the literature, critically reflect on the usefulness of such standards in your local context. Within your reflection consider how this may complement or conflict with existing standards that are currently in operation and justify your position.
My position is Director of Nursing and will use HIQA report for 2023 to identify complements and will associate with the above article.
As well we will identify one or two conflicts – NON COMPLIANTS with the existing standards.
