I have already started working on it, but I need help finishing it. I will upload a blank one and the one I have worked on so you can get an idea of the work that needs to be done. THE RATE OF PATIENT SATISFACTION IS 78%, AND I WANT TO LOOK AT THE MONTH OF JANUARY.
Step 1.
Choose a problem. Provide topic to NURS 4410 faculty as directed (by the end of Week 1).
The identified problem should be something your unit/area is struggling with and would like some help from you (the student) that is not part of your paid employee role. The Focus is on collecting additional data and literature and developing a plan to make improvements.
Step 2.
Meet with the nurse unit manager and/or mentor.
Week 1 & 2 Obtain some background data from the Unit Manager or similar type supervisor/mentor to further identify the problem (falls rates, current handoff process, infections, and why the problem exists).

Step 3.
Collect data. Week 1-3
Arrange with the Unit Nurse Manager or similar type supervisor/mentor access to unit staff and information to collect additional data on the current problem.
Step 4 (Due Week 3)
Access the A3 template with fishbone diagram (PowerPoint format) for this assignment. Type directly into the text boxes within the A3 template. Do not add additional text boxes and pay attention to formatting (stay within the box). Delete the wording already in the boxes (it is only there to guide your efforts in completing the template). It is okay to add/delete text boxes and arrows on your fishbone diagram in order to meet your project needs.
Review the A3 grading rubric for this assignment before beginning. Go ahead and schedule your presentation with Mentor and Nurse Educator which you will be giving during Week 7.
Complete the A3 document by filling out all areas on the template and the fishbone diagram. You will not implement the countermeasures on the unit. Additional resources can be found in the module for Week 2.
