In this assignment, you will organize the strategies/activities you have generated so far in Modules 1 and 2 into a sequential, day-by-day lesson plan appropriate for English learners. As a part of the lesson plan, you will include a strategy/activity for each of the following: sheltered instruction, review, and assessment.
Step 1
Write an introductory paragraph to provide a context for this assignment. Include the grade level, content areas 1 and 2, and theme for your lesson plan.
Step 2
Review the strategy/activity ideas you generated in Modules 1-2. You do not have to incorporate all these activities into your 1-week lesson plan. Use the ones that are most appropriate to your lesson plan/grade level/content areas.
Step 3
Create and complete a template for the lesson plan in your document. You may re-create the table yourself, or use the template provided in the Template Tables document. Add cells for additional strategies as necessary.

Use the free online tool QuizletLinks to an external site. to turn one of your ideas into an online activity. Include a link to your Quizlet activity where appropriate. Include a description and rationale for your activity.
NOTE: While using Quizlet is recommended, you may use choose a different online tool if it would be more appropriate for your activity.
Step 5
Incorporate one strategy/activity for each of the following into the lesson plan. These are in addition to the activity in Step 4.

Reflect on your work in the lesson plan. Write a well-developed concluding paragraph that addresses an analysis of the lesson plan and how well the information and strategies support English learners.
Step 7
Submit your final document. It should include your introduction, the lesson plan, link to the Quizlet activity (or other online activity), and your reflective conclusion. Use APA format for the title page, in-text citations, and reference
