Reflection Paper for Lifespan Development
General Instructions: Please think of an issue, phenomenon, occurrence etc. common to human development that interests you. At the same time identify two cultures that you would like to learn more about. Once you have specified your developmental phenomenon and your two cultures, then follow the rubric below. Please write your essay in word, APA style, with double-spaces and page numbers. I will post a drop box in moodle. You will need a title page, abstract, body of paper, and a reference page. All of these sections should follow APA style. To refresh your memory of APA style, there are plenty of sources on the internet.
A. Page One: Define clearly and thoroughly the aspect of lifespan development that your paper addresses.
B. Pages Two-Three: describe how this developmental event unfolds in the two cultures you have chosen to study. If you are studying dating scripts for example, you could describe how dating takes place in say the USA versus Pakistan.
C. Pages Four-Five: Mention and briefly summarize two scientific references related to the developmental phenomenon. You can also introduce here any other additional references or research that you find relevant. Please remember that you don’t have to summarize the entire article, but just the points relevant to your issue.
D. Page Six: Please address the following regarding your chosen phenomenon: how has it changed over time, how has globalization affected it, future research concerning it that would be good, concluding statement.
