Total Worker Health
One responsibility all employers have is to ensure they create a workplace that is safe and free of hazards. This is not only the right thing to do morally, but also has legal and financial implications as well. Over the past few decades, there has been a push to go beyond safety and include wellness programs designed to help employees live healthier lives. Some companies have started to create integrated programs that address workplace safety, employee health, and employee well-being referred to as Total Worker Health.
