7 What do you want to be when you grow up and why? i want to be a nurse and save peoples life
8 Who is your role model and why? my mom because she takes care of me
9 What is your favorite color? my favorite color is pink
10 What is your favorite food? my favorite food is pizza

2. what did you learn about development from this individual?
3. How is this individual different than a child?
Directions for the paper:
1 Obtain consent from a family member or friend to ask their child that fits within the age range specified the above questions. Be sure to note this but you do not have to provide any written proof.
2 Refer to the child as ‘participant 1’ or utilize a different name. Please do not utilize the child’s actual name.
3 Record the answers the child provides. If the child says ‘I don’t know” then record this and proceed to ask their parent for an answer. Be sure to note this in your responses.
5 Discuss the responses the child provided in terms of development. You can utilize the different chapters in the book as support.
