In the assignments for Modules 3 and 4, you will design a two-week interdisciplinary unit interrelating two content areas to (1) reinforce classroom work and (2) to make learning more meaningful than when the disciplines are taught separately. Compose an introduction to provide context for your interdisciplinary, or thematic, lesson. Use APA format for your paper. Include a title page, in-text citations, and a references page.

Specify the language level of the students your unit will serve as beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

Copy and paste the “Module 3 Part 3 Template” from the Template Tables to list four guiding questions as a framework for interdisciplinary lessons related to the theme. Guiding questions are the overarching questions you would like your students to answer at the end of a unit. They should be broad and open-ended. For example, “Why do we study butterflies?” or “What is community?”
