Write a reflection which demonstrates advanced skills and knowledge in the care of a patient using Gibbs Reflective Cycle. Please include 5 Harvard references. The 1500-word reflection will explore a noteworthy episode of patient care that you witnessed in clinical practice and what you learned from it. Examples might include (but are not limited to) how you and the team interacted with a patient experiencing pre-operative anxiety or how an incident occurred in theatre and how the team dealt with it.
You can consider both good and bad examples of care. You should discuss how learning from the episode has positively contributed to my clinical practice. You are advised to consider (where appropriate) the following non-technical skills: communication, situational awareness, leadership and teamwork and how they may have enhanced or compromised patient care/the situation.
