Based on this week’s assigned reading and research from the UT Health Library, in a blog style post, analyze and evaluate promoting the expansion of the respiratory therapist in vascular access.
1. Research your states respiratory care scope of practice
2. Compare and contrast the skills needed for vascular access with your states scope of practice
3. Discuss if vascular access is or is not included in with the scope of practice
4. Explain how you could promote expanding this practice within a health care facility
