For this assignment, you must find a current practicing LMHC in either your local area or in the area you intend to practice. You will interview this individual and summarize your conversation regarding their practice history, the journey of their development from student to licensed practitioner, their specialties, advocacy, and career goals. You must provide evidence of this interview via recording this person’s name, licensure information, and location of practice, along with 3 (no more no less) direct quotes from your conversation. Apply the conversation to your own growth and development as a clinician. Please include one resource they recommend for developing competency or specialty in their preferred area of practice, and provide a brief summary of this item and its perceived usefulness. All of this should be included in your paper, which should be structured in APA7 Student version with regards to cover page, fonts, page numbers, and necessary references.
