So this is a physcology experiment that i had to perform inn the class but i cloud not do the experiment and the instructor provided me hypothetical data My topic is basically based on iwhen you are a customer you buy things is there something within you that procure before you buy something that triggers you you buy the dependent variable is sense of security You need to make a hypothesis and the dependent variable is sense of security independent variable mood and music I show the picture of the store and tell the audience to look at it for 60 seconds and than play a song in the background also i tell the participants that imagine themselves that they are in this store shopping. Also there are 2 groups one is controlled which sees the picture with the music playing in the background and the second is the group that is just shown the picture and no music. and then i give them a questionnaire to collect my data.basically the experiment is when you are a customer you buy things is there something within you that procure before you buy something that triggers you you buy the dependent variable is sense of security So what the professor told me that you need to tell the participants that this experiment is related to memory (ike a mild deception regarding disguising the study as memory ) to get the attention but what we actuary need to find is the desirability that makes people shop. The questionnaire should have questions like how confident , hopeful , optimistic and comfortable they are and the questionnaire is on likert scale. I have the results of the experiment and the rest instruction are on the picture provided
