Part 1 write a scriipt for : Create a video demonstrating the skills and techniques you have learned throughout the course. Specifically, you should conduct a 20- to 30-minute mock relational (2 people as clients at the same time) therapy session. Please note that this is not to be actual therapy. The idea is to provide a clear demonstration of the use of microskills. In this demonstration, illustrate the following:
Your ability to work at the content and process levels
Your ability to ask open and closed questions
Your ability to summarize content and feeling
Your ability to offer meaningful reflection (accurate empathy)
The video should be professional and demonstrate your ability to record raw data in an effective manner. Students should ensure the room is well-lit, the camera angle is appropriate to capture the therapist and client system, and the sound is sufficient to be heard upon replay.
Part 2.
Write a 2-page reflection of your performance on the microskills demonstrations in the course.
Address the following:
How would you evaluate your performance of those skills? What could you have improved upon?
What are your overall strengths as a beginning therapist? What are your areas of growth?
How would you know that you were making improvements in those areas?
Format your paper according to APA guidelines.
