Each student will prepare a class presentation relevant to health care, the profession of nursing, health care policy, and/or legislation affecting health policy.
Time allotment:45 minutes to 1 hour presentation
15-30 minutes discussion or in class activity
Students will sign up for their selected topic on the first day of class.
1.The students will arrange an appointment to meet with faculty at least two (2) weeks prior to scheduled presentation to discuss content, methods, etc.Methods may include lecture, audio-visual aids, skits, etc.You are encouraged to be creative!
2.Prepare content objectives and a reading list appropriate for your presentation.Distribute to students and faculty one week prior to scheduled presentation.(Must be typed in APA format refer to guidelines on Blackboard).
3.Each presenter submits at least two (2) annotated bibliographies relating to your research for your presentation to faculty one week prior to the scheduled presentation.Articles should be evaluated for accuracy, relevance and significance.Focus on author’s main concepts, issues and conclusions.
