There are 5 current perspectives in psychology—psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive, humanistic, and biological. At times, they offer very different explanations for human behavior. Each one of them has their strengths and weaknesses and may not explain all behaviors.
Your assignment is to write a 1-2 page paper that answers the following 2 questions:
Which is your preferred perspective? That is, which one do you think does the best job of explaining most behaviors? Why do you think it is the most effective perspective? Support your beliefs with examples and logical arguments. Please pick only one, and do not say, “I think they are all good.”
Which do you think is the least effective perspective at explaining most behaviors? Why? Support your beliefs with examples and logical arguments.
Please submit your paper using only Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format (rtf). Your paper should be double spaced, with one inch margins. Please use only Times or Times New Roman 12 point font. In this format, there should be a MINIMUM of 350 words.
